feminist rock * a séance (maybe!) * a generally encouraging time
February 17 at 9:30pm
Arlene's Grocery
We're gonna light the dead of winter on fire with some good, old-fashioned, queer feminist rock and roll! Featuring music from "Hexed" and special guests including Jan Sport from Season 12 of Rupaul's Drag Race. Grab a beverage, charge your crystals, and hex the patriarchy.
THE IMMERSIVE NIGHTCLUB PHENOMENON
OSCAR at The Crown is the immersive nightclub phenomenon detailing the rise and fall one of history’s most extravagant characters: Oscar Wilde. It’s also about “The Real Housewives.” And it’s also about this minor character from the early ought’s TV drama, “The OC.” Described by The New York Times as “a party-inducing Rocky Horror transplanted to a 1990s Madonna video," OSCAR at the Crown explodes in a blaze of passion, spectacle, and heart-bursting catharsis.
"OSCAR at The Crown shouldn't be. As a concept, it's at once simple, complex, brilliant and celebratory even while steeped in its own subversion." --METROSOURCE
